Painted Frog (Uperodon taprobanicus) is a small, round-bodied frog found in South Asia (Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, and Bangladesh). It has dark skin with bright reddish or yellow markings, giving it a “painted” look. It lives in moist areas like paddy fields and gardens, is active at night, and feeds on insects like ants and termites. It breeds during the monsoon in temporary pools.
